The choice of raw materials and production procedures are regulated by these certification marks. Dr. Hauschka products are never tested on animals or exposed to radioactive elements. The non-profit organization NATRUE distinguishes between three types of cosmetics: natural cosmetics, which are free of synthetic fragrances, dyes, preservatives, mineral oils, PEG, and other ingredients; natural cosmetics with at least 70% organic ingredients; and organic cosmetics with at least 95% plant-based ingredients from certified organic cultivation.
However, the substances used in Dr. Hauschka products are 100% natural and go far further than what is required by this international quality label. Natural cosmetics are part of our heritage for us, not just a fleeting fad.
